Adjust Teacher Staffing as a Result of Lower Enrollment $286,620  
Implement the Mega-Transfer Provision $55,000

Transfer Expenses to Restricted Programs $102,094  
Reduce Energy Use by 5% $40,000  
Reduce Overtime by 5%  $20,000 *CSEA assumed there was no overtime
Utilize Measure C Funds for Equipment Purchases $191,941 *should have come out of the right acct. to begin with
Utilize Measure C Funds for Certain Admin Expenditures $76,000 *should have come out of the right acct. to begin with
Eliminate the Summer Differential Pay for Custodians $26,775 *why hasn't this been the practice all along
Reduce Clerical Staffing at EHS by two FTE's $63,157  
Reconfigure Child Nutrition Manager Program $14,026  
Reduce ELD Expenditures $70,000 *cut back on Admin. Hours/align job title
Reduce Independent Study Teachers by .5 FTE $28,500  
Reduce Teacher Staffing at Second Semester $114,648  
Assign 1 Principal to 2 Schools $106,568  
Close one Elementary School $299,000 *IHS move to "closed" school
Close Paden 6-8 Program $57,000  
Eliminate Class Size Reduction K-3 $348,617 *no evidence to support continuing the program in AUSD
Reduce the encroachment by the WCDC Program $65,000 *Eliminate Director, AUSD Principal could oversee WCDC
Reduce the encroachment by Spec. Ed Program by 5% $180,000 *4 Managers are too many at District level
