Write State Senator Don Perata and Assemblywoman Wilma Chan requesting that they support Alameda Unified School District. There are number of legislative approachs that would benefit Alameda Unified School District:

  • Allowing school districts to continue to use 1.5% reserve requirements (AB 659) until the State budget fixes its structural deficit
  • Supporting any legislation that mitigate the impacts of declining enrollment
