1.) Employee of the Month

Background: Each month we honor outstanding employees. This month we honored: Monica Anderson, SPED Paraprofessional, Lincoln Middle School, Karen Hayes, Special Education Teacher, Lincoln Middle School and Jerome Thomas, Operations Lead Custodian, MOF.

2.) Highlighting Alameda Schools: Earhart Elementary School

Background: Earhart School presented an overview of the academic program.

3.) Season of Nonviolence Daily Reading

Background: Niel Tam will read the daily topic from the Season of Nonviolence materials.

4.) Surplus Property Committee Recommendation

Background: In November the BOE formed a committee to make recommendations for surplus property on Eagle Avenue. The committee presented their recommendation to the Board of Education.

Background: Staff presented a report on charter renewal petition submitted by BASE at the prior meeting. The Board approved the resolution.
