Approval of Alameda Unified School District Surplus Real Property Advisory Committee and Adoption of Guidelines for Operations of the Committee Background: Staff recommended the creation of an advisory committee to examine the disposal of two properties - Tidelands Property and Old Island High Site. The Board approved the recommendation. Fiscal Implications: None.2.) Woodstock Child Development Center Update Background: With the Governor's May Revise funding for child care prorgams is significantly reduced. Staff recommended reducing the program and moving child care servies. The Board needed more information and staff will come back with two recommendations at the August 24 meeting. Fiscal Implications: Unknown 3.) Resolution 10-0087 Intent to Layoff and/or Reduce Classified Employees (Resource Specialists Paraprofessionals) Background: Staff is adjusting the scheduling of 19 resource specialists paraprofessional by one hour per day. The Board approved the reduction. Fiscal Implications: $340,257 savings 4.) Resolution 10-0088 Intent to Layoff and/or Reduce Classified Employees (Various Positions) Background: Staff is recommending redcution in hours for various positions in Special Education and for the Health Office Assistant. The Board approved the reduction. Fiscal Implications: $8,540 cost savings 5.) Resolution 10-0089 Intent to Layoff Classified Employees (Office Assistant District - MOF) Background: Staff is recommending elimination of an office assistant within Maintenance, Operations and Facilities. The Board approved the reduction. Fiscal Implications: $41,752.
