Recognition of Employees with 20 Years or More of Service Background: Employees with 20, 25 or 30 years of service will be recognized. Fiscal Implications: None 4.) Scenarios for Master Plan Implementation of Plan B Phase I/II Closures and Consolidations of Schools Background: An informational presentation of Master Plan B options for closures and consolidation of schools were presented. Fiscal Implications: Varies depending on what scenario is chosen. 5.) Approval of Resolution 10-0096 Intent to Reduced Classified Employees (School Office Manager II - Adult Education Background: The School Office Manager II - Adult School is being reduced by 50%. Fiscal Implications: $39,000 savings. 6.) State of the District: California Standards Test (CST) District-Wide and Focus on High School (9-12) Student Outcomes on Academic Performance Index (API, Advancement Placement (AP), and California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) Results Background: Staff presented the first in a series of assessment data from the State about the high schools. First Week of School Enrollment Status Update Background: A status update on Day 10 enrollment was presented. Fiscal Implications: None 9.) Approval of Unaudited Actual Financial Report Background: Staff presented the 2009/10 Unaudited Actuals. Fiscal Implications: None 10.) Resolution No. 10-0095 Adoption of 2009-10 and 2010-11 Gann Limit Background: Each the District needs to recalculate it Gann Limit to make sure expenditures do not exceed limitations imposed of the Gann Limit. Fiscal Implications: None 11.) Adoption of Superintendent's Recommendation to Slate Surplus Real Property Advisory Committee Background: On August 10, 2010 the Board of Education approved establishing a Real Property Surplus Committee. The Superintendent is recommending the following individuals be appointed from the applicant pool of 16. Adian Barry, Doug Biggs, Italo Calpestri, Victor Jin, Arthur Kurrasch, Rodrigo Orduna, Mark Ruckman, William Smith and Melanie Wartenberg. The Board appointed the recommendations.
