Staff Performance Evaulation Timelines

CERTIFICATED STAFF
- Categorically funded and temporary status employees are to be evaluated annually.
- Certificated teaching staff to be evaluated during their Probationary 1 and Probationary 2 year of status.
- If Probationary 2 evaluation is satisfactory – the employee will be evaluated the second year of tenure. Here forth, the tenured employee will be evaluated every other year.
- Certificated administrative staff to be evaluated during year 1 and 2 in a new position.
- If year 2 evaluation of an administrator is satisfactory, they will be evaluated every other year.

CLASSIFIED STAFF
CSEA – Office Tech and Paraprofessionals are evaluated the first (3) three years of employment and evaluated every other year thereafter.
New hires are placed on a six-month probationary period, in which they will be evaluated twice during a six month period, normally in the third and fifth months. These two probationary evaluations equal one annual evaluation.
If an employee is promoted or changes position outside the range of group level of his/her present position, they are once again placed on a six month probationary period and evaluated in this position for the next two years annually, then every other year.
LOCAL ONE – Local One employees are evaluated the first (5) five years of their employment and evaluated every other year thereafter.
New hires are placed on a six month probationary period, in which they will be evaluated twice during a six month period, normally in the third and fifth months. These two probationary evaluations equal one annual evaluation.
If an employee is promoted or changes position outside the range of his/her current position, they are once again placed on a six month probationary period and evaluated in this position for the next four years annually, then every other year.
