Teacher Annual Salary is paid for 37 work weeks.

Private sector annual salary would be approximately 47 work weeks assuming three weeks of vacation and two weeks for Holidays. Therefore, an entry level teacher salary of $38,081 would equal $48,362 in the private sector. The maximum salary of $72,615 would equal $92,221 in the private sector.

Because teacher salaries are based on a step/column schedule, a signifcant percentage of teacher receive an annual pay raise. For example, teachers who enter mid range column 3, use the following for step raises: :
