1.) Earth Day Report
Background: Staff presented the annual report on energy consumption and Go Green activities.
Fiscal Implications. None.
2. Demographics Report
Background: Jack Scherder & Associates presented their report on the 2014 and beyond demographic projections.
Fiscal Implications: $200,000.
3. LCFF Base Grant Allocation
Background: Staff presented part two of a four part review of upcoming 2014/15 budget. This report show how LCFF Base Grant will be allocated.
Fiscal Implications: None.
4. Letter to Newark USD
Background: With the implementation of LCFF, BTSA funding was diverted to Newark USD. The Board approved a letter to request Newark share the LCFF funds. Subsequently, Assembly Member Bonta sent a letter to the district. I create a blog post requesting individuals a sign a petition to protest Newark's actions.
Fiscal Implications: None.
