1.) Update on the Robles-Wong Lawsuit

Background: Staff presented an update on the status of the Robles-Wong lawsuit.

2. Resolution to Support PTA Initiative to Fund Schools

Background: The Board passed a resolution to support the Our Children, Our Future initiative that supports funding of public education.

Fiscal Implications: None.

3.) Adoption of the 2012/13 Budget

Background: The Board approved the adoption of the 2012/13 budget.

Fiscal Implications: To be determined

4.) School Calendar 2012/13

Background: The Board approved the 2012/13 school calendar.

Fiscal Implications: None.

5.) Ratification of Tentative Agreement between Alameda Education Association and AUSD

Background: After the teachers ratified a tentative agreement to extend the 25:1 class size and a 2012/13 school calendar, the Board approved the agreement.

Fiscal Implications: None.

Background: As part of contract, the Superintendent is eligible to receive up to $15,000 based on completion of goals. The Superintendent presented evidence of work done to complete the three goals.
