1.) Proposed Land Swap between AUSD, Alameda City and Alameda Housing Authority

Background: After a presentation at the February 25 BOE meeting, the Board voted to 4 to 1 to approve the land swap.

Fiscal Implications. Undetermined at this time.

2. Approval of Second Financial Report

Background: The Board approved the second interim financial report.

Fiscal Implications: $200,000.

3. Special Education Update

Background: Staff presented an update on the action taken to address disappropriately in identifying certain groups of students.

Fiscal Implications: None.

4. Facilities Master Plan Educational Specifications

Background: As part of the Facilities Master Plan, educational specifications are developed to assist in the overall look and feel of future school sites. The Board reviewed the draft copy.

4. Local Control Accountability Plan Update

Background: When the Governor and Legislature changed the way schools were funded, a new component was added to improve local community involvement called the Local Control Accountability Plan. Staff presented an update on the implementation of the LCAP was going.
