1.) Highlighting Alameda Schools - Wood Middle School

Background: The staff presented an overview of the academic accomplishments of their school.

2. Particular Kinds of Service Resolution

Background: Each year the Board of Education needs to notify certificated personnel by March 15th of the possibility that their services will not be needed in the upcoming year.

Fiscal Implications: TBD. 

3.) Report on Math Initiative

Background: Staff presented a review of the improved assessment outcomes for students as a result of the Math initiative.

4.) Season of Nonviolence

Background: This meeting's reading was on the topic of uniqueness.

5.) Summer School Program

Background: Staff presented a report showing the reduction of summer school program due to lack of state funding.

Fiscal Implications: None.

6.) Second Interim

Background: Staff presented the second interim financial report. Under the worse case scenario AUSD has enough reserves for 2012/13 school year.
