1.) Measure A Review and 2013 Allocation

Background: Staff presented a  report on 2012/13 Measure A expenditures to date and recommendations for 2013/14.

2. Charter School Overview

Background: Staff has prepared an overview of the relationships between the District and Alameda charter schools.

Fiscal Implications: None.

3. Joint Use Agreement with Alameda City on the Pools

Background: AUSD has an annual joint use agreement with City to allow use by Alameda citizens. The City is proposing a three month joint use agreement. Staff presented a recap of the proposal.

4. Instructional Leader Professional Development Update

Background: Each year staff presents a report on professional development provided to instructional site leaders.

Fiscal Implications: None.

5. Reopeners for a Contract with CSEA 860 and 27

Background: With agreement with Alameda Education Association, AUSD is opening compensation negotiations with CSEA 860 and 27.

Fiscal Implications: None

6. MOU with AEA on Class Size

Background: As part of the recent contract settlement with AEA, a separate Memorandum of Understanding has been agreed upon to clarify language surrounding class size for K-3.
