1.) Election of Officers

Background: The Board elected Margie Sherratt as President, Niel Tam as Vice President and Mike McMahon as Clerk.

2. Employees of the Month

Background: The staff from Student Service was recognized as employees of the month.

3.) Logistical Issues for the Implementation of the Magnet/Innovative Programs

Background: Staff presented a report on the logistical supports needed to implement any magnet/innovative programs approved in January.

4.) First Interim Budget for 2011/12

Background: Staff presented a report which summarized financial activity through October 30 and revised projections of ending balances.

5.) Phase I Facilities Study Approval of Architect

Background: After examining five companies staff selected one company to prepare a review of the physical conditions of the facilities.

Fiscal Implications: $340,000 from Fund 40.

6.) Approval of Annual Meeting Schedule and Board Representation

Background: The Board approved the schedule of 2012 meetings as well as representatives to various committees.

Fiscal Implications: None.
